About Clinic Allergy Tehran

Tehran Allergy Clinic, which is the first specialized treatment center of its kind in Iran, was established in 1348 with the efforts of three allergy doctors as follows:

Dr. Shadervan Mohammad Beheshti, Professor of Tehran Medical School and Allergy Lecturer

Dr. Mohammad Kazem Tawaf, specialist in allergy from Paris Medical School

Dr. Majid Kamayi, specialist in allergy from America

It was founded and started working by the head of the medical system with the presence of a group of famous doctors and university professors. Since its establishment, the main goals of the founders were:

Creating a single and equipped center for allergic patients
Investigation and recognition of common allergic diseases in Iran
Knowing the specific environmental factors that cause allergies in Iran according to geographical and climatic diversity and regional and ethnic ways of life
Correct selection of specific allergens for testing in patients and their treatment
Using specialized new treatment methods for more basic treatment of allergic manifestations, including immunotherapy (injection of allergy vaccines).
Conducting numerous scientific researches in order to achieve the above goals

The results of these studies have been presented in articles and lectures in prestigious medical journals of Iran and the world or in international conferences

In 1358, after the death of Shadrovan Dr. Beheshti, due to the increase in the volume of the clinic’s activity, two other founders (Shadrovan Dr. Tawaf and Shadrovan Dr. Kimiaei) followed and expanded the administration and realization of the goals of the clinic with their full-time activities. in order to be responsive to allergic patients who came from all over Iran and sometimes neighboring countries.

In 1377, Dr. Hassan Ali Mohaghegiri, who has a specialized board in allergy and immunology from America, also joined the specialized staff of the clinic.

Currently, the Tehran Allergy Clinic is located in a 4-story building with an area of approximately 1,200 square meters, and in addition to the mandatory nursing staff of 34 people, there are also six other doctors who have internal, pediatric or general expertise and are experts in allergy treatment methods. They provide specialized staff.

Clinic Reception

Admission methods in Tehran Allergy Clinic

Patients who refer for the first time are first evaluated by the colleagues of the reception department and examined by doctors, and with the consultation of specialists, and if the nature of the disease is allergic, they are subjected to diagnostic examinations and allergy tests.

Allergy tests are usually performed on the skin of patients in the form of a skin scratch (prick test). The selection of allergens for testing is based on the results of almost 50 years of research activity and treatment experiences of Tehran Allergy Clinic doctors, according to the type of weather and climatic conditions and the environment of people living in different regions of Iran, and it is complete and comprehensive in its own way, which includes 48 tests of allergens suspended in the air and, if necessary, 48 tests of food allergens.

In the next step, with the completion of the file, allergy tests are performed on the patients and the results are recorded on a computer and are available to the specialist doctors.

Because allergic diseases are chronic and their control is done gradually even with the administration of vaccine therapy, it is necessary that respectable patients go to receive the next vaccines at regular intervals as recommended and also be periodically examined and evaluated in order to receive additional medication orders.

In this clinic, necessary written and oral instructions are given to each patient accurately. After obtaining the necessary orders from the doctors, the patients are given detailed information on how to use the vaccines and prescribed drugs by the trained personnel.

Tehran Allergy Clinic operates from Saturday to Wednesday, from 8 am to 4 pm and on Thursdays from 8 am to 12 noon, except for holidays. The following recommendations are necessary to guide the doctor’s colleagues and patients who sometimes come from all over the country

Dear patients, it is better to refer after confirming the allergic nature of the clinical manifestations, which has been confirmed by one of the doctor’s colleagues. To save time and rework, carry any radiographic tests along with the report that was done by the doctor’s colleagues. Visiting the clinic requires prior preparation. Dear visitors, please call the clinic’s voicemail before visiting to get some necessary guidance.
